Ngongotaha King & Queen of the Mountain Race is held in conjunction with the Rotorua A & P Show. Race from the Rotorua A & P Show Grounds to the top of Mount Ngongotaha and back. Then relax and enjoy all the fun at the Rotorua A & P Show. Trophies and prizes.

Starts at the show grounds just past the office, under road to paradise valley road through Ngati Whakaue up to the top of the mountain and back again. There is gorse on the hill so gloves may be needed. Track has been cleared will have spray paint on the ground through farm area for direction. Junior 19 years and under. Senior 20 to 39 years. Masters 40 years plus. Children’s run starts 10.45am. Short course to Paradise Valley road and back. Come and have a go while checking out the view from the top.
Saturday entry to show Adults $20 and children under 15yrs free.

Organisers take all care and have a full Health & Safety plan in place, but only YOU are responsible for any injuries you sustain in this event.
The main Paradise Valley Rd remains OPEN to traffic, so please take care when you cross.
